I would say a break glass account, if used correctly, can be exempt from Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) because it is disabled and will only be enabled when necessary. In an emergency, using a break glass account is acceptable as long as its activation is tracked and audited as part of the cybersecurity process. Effectively, a break glass account is used in emergencies to gain necessary permissions for updates, backups, or similar actions. From an MFA standpoint, such an account is permissible since it remains disabled 99.999% of the time and is only activated for logged and monitored break glass incidents. You can confirm where the app has been installed from by going to your device settings > Apps > click on RoboShadow - Network Scanner > "App details in store". You should see "App downloaded from Google Play Store". If the RoboShadow app is an unknown app installed on your device, we would recommend an uninstall and if possible run security scans of your mobile device (antivirus and malware).
